There aren’t many things I love to do more than capture meaningful moments of children and families and turn them into beautiful photographic memories. My grandfather gave me my first camera for my fifth birthday and I was hooked. My love of image making comes naturally from being part of a long line of photographers - my great grandfather, my grandfather and my mother. I can remember sitting in the darkroom with my grandfather for hours, exposing film and waiting to see what miraculously appeared on the paper, floating in the water before us. Fast forward to today, I get the same giddy feeling each time I upload digital files from my camera.

I love babies and kids and I especially love photographing kids just being kids - the bright eyes, the bubbly toes, the dimples... capturing the moments that pass far too quickly.

I love to photograph in natural environments - no studio setups. There's something refreshing about seeing kids jump into a pile of leaves or wrestle with their siblings on the bed, and there's nothing sweeter than a parent or grandparent sharing a tender moment with a newbie. That’s what I strive for in each of my photos - an image that tells the story on its own with little to no words.

I know, you're curious... why the name "StinkiePantz"?  Well, I’ve always worked in creative environments, spending much of my career in corporate web development groups. But the urge to be creative myself was never fully satisfied.  I began doing photo shoots for friends who were getting married and having sweet little children of their own.  When my husband and I were blessed with our first baby boy, it was our very own little "stinky pants" who really inspired me to make this my life’s work.

And now, here I am, one amazing husband and three little boys later, sharing StinkiePantz with you. But enough about me. Let's meet at your home, the park, the beach or whatever place you love and we’ll make it all about YOU and your beautiful, messy, stinky family!
